She is a very rare find marked Pedigree on back of neck and Made in England on her back.
She is a beauty, with great blush coloring on face and knees.
Body is in very good, very clean condition but for a small inch and half seam split under her left arm which could be easily repaired (please see photo).
There are no odors.
She has a voice box on her back which is non-working.
Her legs move back and forth but her head no longer moves with them. She is strung tightly so there are no loose limbs. Arms hold their position to where you want them to be.
Her blue eyes are clear sleep eyes that move left to right. Eyelashes are all there. There are two upper teeth and red lips.
Hair is pretty in a short curled bob and tied with a blue ribbon bow. Not sure if hair is original.
She wears a gorgeous hand made ensemble which includes:
– A Sleeveless polished cotton salmon colored flower trimmed dress with matching bloomers.
– And a matching hand knitted blue coat with a salmon-colored felt collar and matching felt tam. Tam and coat collar show some aging.
– She wears a hand made matching floral bead and faux pearl bracelet and a small matching floral bead brooch on her coat collar.
– Shoes are vintage Cinderella brand tied closed with matching salmon ribbon. I believe socks are new.
In my opinion, all in all, she is a really pretty and unique one-of-a-kind doll in a beautiful handmade ensemble ready to be one of the stars for display in your collection.
