Stunning Large Antique 19th Century European Gilt Silver & Enamel Belt Buckle This stunning belt buckle was hand made around 1900 in Europe, probably in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and features a beautiful ornate design with black and white floral enamel. It used to fit a belt 2 1/2″ wide and was probably worn by a person of high social status since regular people could not afford Silver items of this size and quality. Very good condition with minor enamel losses. This ornate antique piece measures 3 5/8″ long x 1 5/8″ wide and weighs 27.5 grams. The piece carries no visible hallmarks but tested for Silver (.800 – .900). Very unusual and rare piece! It is very important to us that you are happy with your purchase.
