This listing is for (1) replacement (MADE IN THE USA) nylon impact washer made for the Smart Splitter. This is better than the original molded washer sold by companies online. As you see in the pictures, this washer has been machined on a lathe from nylon 6/6 solid bar stock. There are no seams to possibly crack or porosity (air bubbles in the material from the molding process) to fail. Understand however, this is a wear item and is designed to take the load of an 8 lb weight to strike the wedge. Over time this item will mush, but will exceed the life of the OEM impact washer. I make these washers myself on a CNC lathe. You will be very happy with the quality of this item. I have sold a couple hundred of these so you can buy with confidence. Grab at least 2 so you have a spare for next year and can save on shipping this year.
