ANTIQUE ENGLISH SILVER GILT AGATE INLAID VINAIGRETTE c1870
A lovely quality silver gilt (solid sterling silver with a gold wash) antique vinaigrette, set with carved and polished agate panels hinging open to reveal a pierced and engraved floral grille that would have originally contained a scented sponge. Engraved with the monogram APE or similar to the reverse.

CONDITION
: All original and good. Some signs of detail wear commensurate with age and use.

: Around 1860/70. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 9.5 mm tall, lid 28 x 20 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
